'Those things shape who you are': Kate Winslet insists her divorces have HELPED her children... because it taught them to 'struggle on some level'
Kate
Winslet is adamant her personal struggles, including her two divorces,
have helped teach her children how to cope with life's hardships.
The
Oscar-winning actress has no regrets about the choices she's made in
her life, bad or good, because they have shaped both her and her
children, she tells Harper's Bazaar.
Speaking
in the March issue of the magazine, she explains: 'I think it’s very
important to teach your children to struggle on some level.

'I
would honestly say that I wouldn’t change a thing. Even all the bad
bits. It doesn’t matter how ***** times have been, they all matter,
because those things shape who you are.
'And if you don’t like who you are, well, then you’re ****** really, aren’t you?'
The
39-year-old is mother mother to Mia, 14, from her marriage to Jim
Threapleton, and Joe, 11, from when she was married to Sam Mendes.
She gave birth to second son, Bear, with her third husband Ned Rocknroll in 2013.
